Belle at the Jones House and the Matthews House are producing a joint party in Downtown Cary this year. It’ll be a “Great Gatsby” type New Year’s Eve complete with a band, bar, cocktail hour, a beautiful meal and dancing.

Bollywood New Year’s Eve Party

This party has sold-out in previous years with over 600 guests! This celebration boasts the largest dance floor in NC, Bollywood-famous DJ Kenz, a live projection of the NYC Times Square Ball Drop, a cash bar with incredible drink specials, free table booking for groups, photo portrait sessions, a free champagne toast at midnight, top-ranked Indian, laser lighting and more.

Umstead NYE Celebration

The Umstead Hotel and Spa’s annual New Year’s Eve Gala will include premium spirits, exquisite food and dancing with live entertainment provided by the Soul Psychedelique. A midnight toast and confetti countdown closes out the year as you dance into the night at this elegant party.

This four-course dinner features a Chestnut dish with smoked bacon white chocolate, black truffle, and poached quince, a Videri Chocolate with chocolate cremeux, calamansi sorbet, matcha chiffon and cocoa and more. There will be flow seating from 6-9 pm for in-house guests or those attending The Umstead’s New Year’s Eve Gala. Local guests will be seated 9-10 pm.

Jellybeans is hosting their annual “Roll the Bean” New Year’s Eve celebration. A $20 admission covers skate rentals, a meal ticket and one roll of toilet paper. At midnight, there will be a countdown and balloon drop, and everyone will toilet paper the inside of the skating rink.

2016 First Night
in Downtown Raleigh

This year, First Night in Downtown Raleigh will be complete with a Ferris Wheel, a pretend pop-up wedding chapel, a people’s procession, food and drink, music and, of course, a countdown to midnight with fireworks. Find the schedule of events online.

New Year’s Eve Celebration
at the Durham Convention Center, 301 W. Morgan Street, Durham

Ring in the new year in a Grand Ballroom with live entertainment from Durham’s own Bull City Syndicate, an appetizer food bar, one complimentary house specialty drink, a customized photo booth and a champagne toast to ring in 2016. Tickets are $60 per person.

Night Lights
at the Morehead Planetarium, 250 E. Franklin Street, Chapel Hill

This family-friendly celebration starts on Thursday, December 31, 2015 from 3-6 pm at the Morehead Planetarium. There will be activities, interactive games, refreshments and a kids’ countdown under the stars in the fulldome theater to ring in the new year.
