Business Bits: Parkside Town Commons and New Restaurants

Cary, NC – August has seen the announcements of many new businesses coming to Cary, including several anticipated and popular Triangle restaurants.

Parkside Town Commons

Many new businesses have been announced for Parkside Town Commons and will be coming in the coming months. Among them are the large department store SteinMart and the nutrition and health supplement supplier GNC.

Joining them is the growing exercise studio OrangeTheory in September, as well as the beauty salon Phenix Salon Suites and optometrist Parkside Eye Care in Autumn. For those looking for businesses for education, the educational toy store Learning Express will also be opening in Parkside Town Commons.

Then, for restaurants, the shopping center is opening sandwich shop Which Wich and local Italian restaurant Stellino’s.

Harrison Square

Soon, Harrison Square will be the home of the highly-anticipated Dame’s Chicken and Waffles. This restaurant will be in the location where Firewurst previously was.

Northwood Station

Taking the previous Java Jive location, Noodle Boulevard is now opening in Northwood Station.

Park West Village

We have written about Cute Buttons and Pink Magnolia Boutique coming to Park West Village in past Business Bits but their official grand opening and ribbon-cutting is in a few weeks on Saturday, September 3, 2016.

There is also a Sheetz gas station and convenience store opening at Park West Village, specifically at the corner of Morrisville Parkway and Bristol Creek Drive.

Crossroads Shopping Center

Korean Premium BBQ recently leased space in Crossroads next to the Kohl’s. There is no set date yet for when it will open.

Stonecreek

Johnny’s Pizza is coming to the Stonecreek shopping center, taking the location where ZPizza used to be.

Waverly Place

Gonza Tacos y Tequila announced it will open its fifth location in 2017, making its restaurant in Waverly Place its first in Cary.

Morrisville

In Morrisville’s Park West Village off of Village Market Place, a new location for Cantina 18 will be opening by 2017. This will be the first in the Triangle’s Restaurant 18 group to open in the Cary-Morrisville area.

Downtown Cary

La Farm Bakery have announced they will be opening a new production bakery on 220 W Chatham St. by the end of the year, with plans to add on a commercial bakery and café by 2017.

Hustle Fitness is opening in Downtown Cary at 145 W Chatham St. in the former Cary Coworking Space. The fitness studio is run by a former fitness director at the Cary YMCA.
