Cary, NC – The Town of Cary selected William Lewis, executive director of the Piedmont Council of Traditional Music, Inc. or PineCone, to take over as the town’s cultural arts manager, replacing Lyman Collins who is retiring after 20 years.
PineCone, the Piedmont council of traditional music, is partnering with Cary again this year to provide five free concerts and bluegrass summer camps to residents of all ages.
“Piedmont traditional music is bluegrass, gospel, Celtic/Irish, even ukelele music.”
Cary, NC — He’s a father, a husband, and a curly locked, Georgia born music lover. William Lewis, who has called Cary home for 18 years, joined the Town of Cary staff as Cultural Arts Manager in August 2019.
