Page-Walker Offers $750 to High School Seniors
High school seniors in Cary can apply now through May 15, 2015 to receive a $750 educational scholarship from the Page-Walker Arts & History Center.
Weekend: Drag Queens, Bingo & Bagpipes
The Koka Booth Ampitheatre will host a Drag Queen Prom on Friday night. This large-scale bingo event, which is a fundraiser for the Chatham Social Health Council, will include five games of bingo and some entertainment from “Blue Light Beauties.”
Local Men’s Choir Wins District Competition
The Heart of Carolina, a local barbershop harmony men’s choir, is celebrating their new title as 2015 Carolinas District Champion after their winning performance in a competition for NC and SC a cappella groups.

Weekend: Lebanese Festival, Wine & Zumba
The 17th Annual Lebanese Festival will take place in Downtown Raleigh’s City Plaza from noon-7 pm on Saturday, April 4, 2015. The free event includes authentic Lebanese food, non-stop performances, a fortune teller, belly dancers, Lebanese coffee and sweets, Hooka, games and tournaments, the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt and more.
