Friday: Sister Cities of Cary casual St. Patrick’s Day party

In this warm-up to St. Patrick’s Day, Sister Cities of Cary (SCAC) will be hosting a casual party at Dorry’s downtown on Friday night from 7-10 PM.

Heavy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments Free for SCAC members and $5.00 for the general public. More details on the Calendar.

Friday: Indie Game, the Movie

One night only, this Sundance Festival award winner will be at the Galaxy Theater.

Saturday: Clean-up Downtown

The Heart of Cary Association is having their quarterly Adopt-a-Spot clean up on Saturday morning. Friends and members welcome.

Bring your gloves and meet in BB&T’s (200 E. Chatham Street) parking lot; bags and safety vests provided.

Saturday Night: Ballet

International Ballet Academy performs their Spring recital along with live music from the Triangle Youth Orchestra.

Sunday: Tobacco Road Marathon

The signature event of the weekend has to be the Tobacco Road Marathon, which starts and ends at Thomas Brooks Park in Cary (aka USA Baseball). Our own Jimmy Orban is running the half.

Too late to start training, but you can still be a spectator.
