Fairy Gardens: How to Build a Tiny World
Fairy gardens, along with plants and flowers, often feature tiny houses and lawn furniture, small gnomes and animals, and, of course, fairies – though the fairies are completely optional. Some people really get into the details when they build their fairy gardens by adding pebble walkways, miniature clotheslines, moss-covered hills and more.
Restaurants: Newk’s Eatery Opens in Cary
Newk’s is a fast-casual chain restaurant based in Jackson, Mississippi that specializes in Southern-inspired, made-from-scratch soups, sandwiches, salads and pizzas for lunch and dinner. The new Cary Newk’s is located beside the Goodberry’s on Kildaire Farm Road and takes the place of Hibernian Irish Pub.
“Jumpstreet” Trampoline Park Opens in Cary
Jumpstreet features a special “Earthquake” zone for kids seven and under only to help prevent injuries. There’s also a “dunk ball” station, where kids and adults can play basketball on a bouncy court, and two trampoline dodge-ball quarts that hold 30 people each.
