As a preview to the Cary Diwali Festival that returns to Booth Amphitheatre later this Fall, Hum Sub of Cary is hosting a movie night featuring Sholay on Friday August 24th.

The storms were looming all day Saturday, so the equipment for the Shana Tucker Concert was set up in the Kiwanis Shelter. She played to a packed, and dry, crowd.
I enjoyed hanging out watching the artists at work. A crane which was on loan for the day lowered many of the heavier pieces onto their pedestals from above. It was street theater that caught the eyes of many passersby that morning.
