Cary — Students from Le Touquet, France have been traveling to Cary for an immersive cultural experience for more than 25 years through the non-profit organization Cary Sister Cities. This program wouldn’t be possible without Cary residents volunteering to be host families. This year there is a shortage of host families and additional ones are needed before the students’ arrival.
Cary, NC — This was a very slow week with just a couple of meetings.

Cary, NC — It’s that time again, readers – time to think about your voting plans. Primary Day is March 3, but now is the time to check your voting status, look at a sample ballot and decide where and when to vote in the next election.

Cary, NC — The Cary Town Council met for its second regular meeting of the year Thursday night with about 50 in attendance. The main topic of discussion was a series of amendments brought forward as a presentation to the council to make all future townhome streets and alleys publicly owned and maintained.
Cary, NC — On Wednesday, Cary Mayor Harold Weinbrecht delivered his 2020 State of the Town Address to members of the Cary Chamber of Commerce in a packed ballroom at Prestonwood Country Club. He highlighted the accomplishments of 2019 and talked about what is planned for 2020 and the years ahead.
Cary, NC — Hundreds of members of the Regional Transportation Alliance attended the 18th annual State of the Mobility meeting in Cary on Friday to hear the future visions and currents needs of the organization.
Cary, NC – This week’s activities were shortened due to illness earlier in the week. My first activity was on Wednesday.
