I was at the Tech Task Force meeting in downtown last night. Naturally, everybody was on their laptops, cell phones and iPads during the entire meeting. Around 8:40 PM, Twitter and Facebook exploded with news of a power outage in central-west Cary.

The second meeting of Cary’s Technology Task Force could be characterized as the Big Brainstorm. The committee heard eight presentations on topics including Engagement, Open Data, Social Media, Mobile, Websites and Video, among others.
Money Magazine just released it’s latest Top 100 Cities in America. Only two cities in NC made the list: Chapel Hill and Cary. We’re 56th overall.
