Tar Heels Take Pantry March Madness Cup

While no Triangle Universities won the NCAA championships on the court, their fans helped them win big for charity. The Pantry, Ltd held their own contest called the Battle for Bean Street which pitted UNC, NC State and Duke fans against each other. Read more

Chef’s Academy Picks Morrisville

The region captured the attention of The Chef’s Academy, the Culinary Division of Harrison College, from Indianapolis, IN.  The Academy is expanding , and their research pointed them to our area as a great place to open a new culinary arts school. Local Publisher Wins Knight Fellowship

Cary, N.C. – Wednesday, the Cary Chamber hosted the 2011 Economic Forecast at Prestonwood Country Club. The featured speaker was Dr. Michael Walden, Wm Neal Reynolds Distinguished Professor, N.C. State University.

The breakfast event drew about 200 people – a robust turnout. Dr. Walden remarked that the strong attendance in Cary was a positive economic sign. Read more
