Canes Have 3-2 Comeback Win Against Florida

After a disappointing week in Canada, with one win and the break of what was the longest current winning streak in the NHL, the Carolina Hurricanes found their winning ways against the Florida Panthers, falling behind by two goals then came back with a strong second period performance for a 3-2 win.

Canes Extend Win Streak to Four Games

The Carolina Hurricanes extended their NHL leading win streak to four games with a hard fought 3-1 win against the Winnipeg Jets to close out their five game home stand. Both Elias Lindholm and Noah Hanifin scored their first goals of the season with Victor Rask scoring his team leading eighth marker of the season.

Canes Lose to Flyers 4-3

No loss is considered a good loss but Sunday’s loss by a score of 4-3 to the Philadelphia Flyers was nothing short of disappointing. There were bright spots: the Rask-Skinner-Stempniak line continues to produce, fourth liner Viktor Stalberg notched his first goal of the season and Ron Hainsey played his usual no-nonsense-in-your-face defense.
