Downtown: “Share the Season” Toy Drive

Cary, NC- Patterned after the Marine Corps’ Toys-for-Tots program, the Heart of Cary’s ‘Share the Season’ Toy Drive was created last year for the purpose of getting new, unwrapped toys into the hands of children in our community who would otherwise have nothing to look forward to on Christmas morning. It’s a simple premise and one which could not be accomplished without the help and support of more than a dozen businesses throughout the Downtown area. Read more

Muskets Honor Revolutionary Patriot in Cary

Cary, NC – Muskets were fired in Cary on Saturday as the Daughters of The American Revolution officially honored Nathaniel Jones. The Wake County patriot is buried in White Plains Cemetery, tucked between some houses in the Maynard Oaks subdivision. Read more
