A Christmas Story Returns to Cary
Last seen in Cary in 2007, Cary Players are producing A Christmas Story this December in the Cary Arts Center. They performed the play in the past back in the old Cary Elementary Media Center.

Is Thanksgiving really next week? It doesn’t seem possible. Maybe it’s the calm before the tempest, but, this weekend’s highlight event is shredding. As in document shredding.
And though my wife and I were fortunate enough to dodge any damage to our new home, our new favorite neighbors of Hoboken, New Jersey were not greeted with the same fate, as the Hudson River blew right over its banks and into the homes, bars, and restaurants that we’ve come to love and frequent in our short time here.

This fall weekend has many charms to offer including a performance of Sleeping Beauty by the Birmingham Children’s Theater, the Triangle Wind Ensemble’s Fall Concert and the 4th Annual Lochmere Arts & Crafts Festival. All this and more on the Calendar.
Embassy Suites on Harrison Av. will be buzzing with adjectives, adverbs and alliteration as the NC Writers Network Fall Conference comes to Cary this weekend.
