HIGH POINT, N.C. – Barton College’s Chris Flemmings has been selected as the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Men’s Basketball Player of the Week during week ten of the 2012-13 Basketball season. Flemmings played for the Green Hope High School varsity men’s basketball team in Cary and graduated in 2012.

Cary, NC – For years, the Lucy Daniels Center in Cary has helped parents of preschool-aged children deal with some emotional challenges as they prepared for the move to traditional Wake County classrooms. Cary, NC – The Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) just released their Global Entrepreneur Indicator, a semi-annual survey of 8,000 entrepreneurs across 40 countries. As it turns out, entrepreneurs in the Triangle are feeling pretty good about the prospects for 2013. Read more

That’s because it represents a significant opportunity for the community to put something useful in that space. Now, plans are moving forward to seize the opportunity and create a downtown park.
