Due to another expected round of snow and ice for North Carolina, Bass Pro Shops has announced it is postponing its Feb. 12 Evening for Conservation and ribbon-cutting ceremony at Bass Pro Shops Sportsman’s Center in Cary, N.C. Bass Pro Shops will announce a new date to host its Evening for Conservation and ribbon-cutting ceremony as soon as possible.
Though celebrity appearances and special events associated with the Evening for Conservation and ribbon-cutting ceremony are postponed, the Cary store tentatively plans to open Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 6:00 p.m. Tentative plans are to open the store at 8 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13 and at 9 a.m. (normal opening hours) Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15. On Sunday, Feb. 16 the store will open at 10 a.m.
“The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for North Carolina, which means a lot of our celebrities and staff traveling to the Bass Pro Shops Cary, N.C., Sportsman’s Center won’t be able to get here,” said Katie Mitchell, communications manager for Bass Pro Shops. “We still plan to have an Evening for Conservation and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Cary Bass Pro Shops. We’re checking schedules right now and hope to announce a new date for this special event very soon.”
