This fall weekend has many charms to offer including a performance of Sleeping Beauty by the Birmingham Children’s Theater, the Triangle Wind Ensemble’s Fall Concert and the 4th Annual Lochmere Arts & Crafts Festival. All this and more on the Calendar.

We have a moderately busy weekend coming up in Cary, at least according to the Calendar of Events. The band Heart is coming to town. There’s a show at Cary Arts Center, a Health Fair, a Harry Potter event and more.
Alan Jackson played country music at Booth Amphitheatre in Cary on Friday night. Just country music. No light show, no costume changes, no eye candy back up singers. An acoustic guitar and a country singer-songwriter.
The self-proclaimed greatest beer sippin’, bourbon tastin’, music listenin’, cigar smokin’, and barbeque eatin’ festival in the USA hit Cary this weekend. I’d proclaim it pretty darn good myself.
