Cary, NC – FBI reports over the recent years have shown that Cary is one of the safest places to live in the country and especially North Carolina when considering population size. A new study echoes this as Cary ranks as the second-safest town in North Carolina and one of the safest nationwide when taking population into account. Read more
Cary, NC – This week was a light week due since it was the week after Thanksgiving. Read more
Cary, NC – At a time when tensions between police departments and communities of color are prominent in the news, local programs have been working to bridge any divides between these two groups in Cary. Many of these programs were started because of one man who went to the police station because he was afraid of his son’s future. Read more
Cary, NC – Early this morning, power outages were reported across Cary, affecting around 10,000 residents and Town of Cary facilities. Read more
Cary, NC – This was Thanksgiving week so most of my time was spent with family. Read more
Cary, NC – Every time I see the news I am reminded how blessed we are to live in one of the greatest communities in America. But I am also reminded that we must not take this for granted. It is so important that we as a community continue to support each other and give back, and there isn’t much that better demonstrates Cary citizens doing exactly that than some of the recent events in town. Cary, NC – The latest Cary Town Council meeting was very busy, with a second Public Hearing on the Fenton development in the Eastern Gateway, designating three Cary sites as historic landmarks, naming the 2017 Hometown Spirit Award winner, renaming a park after a much-heralded resident and much more.
