Cary-lina, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes lost to the Philadelphia Flyers, on the second part of  back-to-back weekend games.

After playing a great game 24 hours earlier, the Canes blew it in the third period giving up 4 goals, after starting the period 1-1, eventually losing by a score of 5-1. Read more

Panthers Beat: OHHH – lind – OHHH!

Cary-lina, NC – The Panthers let this one slip away from them.

Sunday’s contest was taken down to the final seconds only to have Olindo Mare miss a “sure thing” 31 yard field goal that would have sent the game into overtime with 29 ticks left.

Cary-lina, NC  –   If you missed this game, you missed a great one.

The Canes hosted the Chicago Blackhawks in their only meeting this season on Friday October 28th.

The Blackhawks came into the game leading the Central Division with a 5-1-2 record but fell to 5-2-2 after being shut out 3-0 by the Canes on Cam Ward’s 17th career shutout. Read more

Cary-lina, NC – The Canes faced off against the Ottawa Senators on Wednesday, October 25 at the RBC.  They skated away after having been beaten in a heartbreaking 3-2 shootout loss.
