The week was filled with the hustle and bustle of a typical holiday week. Unfortunately it was marred in tragedy which has put our nation in a state of mourning.

Thursday morning the town contingent, our financial advisors, and the Citigroup members met in the Citigroup offices to discuss our strategy for our meetings with the bond rating agencies.
Mayors also discussed building activity in their towns. All reported activity was picking up. Mayor Tim Hinnant (Wendell) said they are reviewing a project that will double their population.
Thursday started with a reception for our co-winners of the Hometown Spirit award. This year’s winners were Joy Pike and Betsy Dassau. Both of these ladies embody the spirit of volunteering and making their community great.
