I haven’t seen turf this messy and wet since belly flopping on a Slip’N Slide in my backyard in grade school. Fans were literally bailing water out of the stands with beer cups.
My Cam Newton “bromance” continues. At least for one more Sunday. The big leagues are clearly not too big for this guy.

The Carolina Hurricanes were able to get revenge for the opening day loss to the Florida Panthers, beating the Panthers in a commanding 6-2 win March 2 at the PNC Arena.
The last time these two teams played 3 years ago, the Panthers (2-7) dominated the hapless Lions. This years’ Lions (6-3) team is for real, though. In fact, I’ll say something I never thought I’d say. This may be a preview of an NFC Championship one day. One day soon.
“Opening day” has come and gone. We may have learned something about these about these new Panthers. It starts with their new signal caller.
The Carolina Hurricanes fell to the Florida Panthers 4-2 before nearly a sellout crowd after they just returned from their best five-game road trip in franchise history. The Canes garnered nine out of a possible 10 points on a trip through western Canada ending up in Colorado.
Coach Rod Brind’Amour wanted the Canes to bounce back after a strong start then virtually giving the last game away and the Canes responded in an incredible manner. In a reversal of their previous game in which they went up with two early goals, the Canes found themselves down by two goals within 16 seconds in the nine-minute mark.
The Carolina Panthers are in the Super Bowl, and, without a doubt, area fans will be celebrating Sunday night with themed snacks and parties. I did some research to find easy, tasty Panthers-themed party recipes for loyal fans.
