This week was supposed to be slow, calm week with very few meetings and events. Instead events in New York created a stressful time for my family and of course thousands of others. My thoughts and prayers go out to the friends and relatives of those that lost love ones, property and those that continue to suffer as a result of this storm.

Tuesday I had the privilege and joy of touring Life Experiences. Life Experiences is a non-profit organization that offers a choice of satisfying work experiences for adults with varying disabilities.
Questions included whether or not there was a protest petition for the Highcroft proposal, a question about setbacks for bees, and a question about whether or not electronic gaming could be grandfathered.

Whatever happened to accurate, fair, and balanced? Once again, it appears the local newspaper is doing what it can to create controversy and ultimately harm Cary. Shame on them!
This week consisted of a Mayors Association meeting, ethics training and a brainstorming session.
