Raleigh, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes had a complete team effort in a 6-3 win over the New Jersey Devils, Saturday March 9 at the PNC Arena. Raleigh, NC – The Carolina Hurricanes lost a frustrating game Thursday February 21 against the Winnipeg Jets at the PNC Arena, 4-3. Frustrating because the Canes dominated puck possession, frustrating because of soft goals by the Jets and frustrating because a win could have boosted the confidence in the young team the Canes had on the ice. Raleigh, NC – Captain Eric Staal had the 13th hat trick of his career Thursday night as the Carolina Hurricanes won for the first time in this abbreviated season in a 6-3 over the Buffalo Sabres.
