Frustrating because the Canes dominated puck possession, frustrating because of soft goals by the Jets and frustrating because a win could have boosted the confidence in the young team the Canes had on the ice. Raleigh, NC – Captain Eric Staal had the 13th hat trick of his career Thursday night as the Carolina Hurricanes won for the first time in this abbreviated season in a 6-3 over the Buffalo Sabres.
